1. Preheat oven to 350F. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking cocoa, baking soda and salt.
2. In a large mixer bowl, cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in white baking pieces.
3. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Let stand for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheets.
