1. Cream together butter, peanut butter, white sugar and brown sugar.
2. Stir in egg, vanilla, salt, baking soda and flour.
3. Chill dough for a few hours.
4. Preheat oven to 350F. Drop rounded teaspoonfulls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten cookies with a fork, using flour to keep cookie dough from sticking to the fork.
5. Bake for about 10 minutes.
