Pasta With Beans
Ingredients:
- 2 cans (16 oz each) stewed tomatoes (undrained)
- 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans (undrained)
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 16 oz elbow macaroni
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, combine undrained tomatoes, undrained kidney beans, water, parsley and seasonings. Heat to a boil.
2. Add macaroni, cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Pour into serving dish, sprinkle with cheese. Garnish with parsley if desired.
