Bavarian Meatballs and Pears

Ingredients:



Directions:

1. Drain pear halves, reserving liquid.

2. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well, shape into 2" meatballs.

3. Heat oil in a large skillet. Brown meatballs slowly on all sides.

4. Add cloves, cider vinegar & reserved pear syrup. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add pears, simmer for 10 minutes more (or until meat is done.)
